Contribution by Li Gerhalter and Christa Hämmerle, University of Vienna:
From 19-20 October 2018, the biennial meeting of the EDAC – European Ego-Document Archives and Collections Network – took place at the University of Vienna. Its aim was to discuss relevant genre definitions and to strengthen exchange and cooperation of its member institutions. The multidimensionality of their work became very clear, as well as the European dimension of research and the public use of auto/biographical writings.
