Discours et métaphores alimentaires dans la littérature française du xvie au xxie siècle

La présente étude retrace l’évolution de la recherche internationale sur le motif de la nourriture et du repas dans la littérature française du xvie au xxie siècle. La convergence entre littérature et nourriture y est surtout envisagée dans ses aspects discursifs, psychologiques ou, plus récemment, sémiotiques et méta-esthétiques, tandis que les travaux socio-historiques sont assez peu nombreux. La recherche montre pourtant la richesse et la diversité de l’emploi que les écrivains font du discours alimentaire sur le plan poétique, narratologique et métaphorique.
